August’s photo of the month comes as no surprise. “Station Chase” by Uruguayan graphic designer Javier Odriozola, took home the top honors. It was a narrow margin of victory, but the A-Team settled on this one as the final winner in our monthly photo contest meeting. We liked the sense of action, movement, and creativity in the photo. We’d love to see more along these lines.

1st place:

Following closely in 2nd place and missing the mark by just one vote, is one from Maria Sardari’s self-portrait series, which is going quite strong and we highly recommend you follow her stream.

In 3rd place was a striking portrait of four parent/child couples, taken by Jorge Rimblas, and stitched together.

Honorable Mentions were earned by two different Ians, Dixon and Ho.
